October is “Domestic Violence Awareness” month. On October 27th, 2024, we are asking our brothers and sister to worship in Purple. Brother Johnson has agreed to preach a sermon on Domestic Violence (DV).
We are requesting all sisters to purchase a copy of “Tamar Stories, Sisterhood” Book 1 and read. These are powerful stories of God’s redemption of women in the Church. Take this opportunity to read in the Bible about Tamar I, Genesis 38:1-30 and Tamar II, in II Samuel 13:1-NIV. I (Cydney Barnes) will have copies of the book for $25 each, or they are also available on Amazon .
The goal for purchasing the book and reading is to set up a zoom meeting to discuss the book. There will be a Tamar Stories Sisterhood Book 2, Sister Sandra Craft is going to share her story.
