Women Ministries

This ministry functions on biblical teaching and programs that are designed to help women in their Christian development.  The main objective is to glorify God, encourage women to be obedient and submissive to the word of God, equip women to serve, work faithfully in the Lord’s church and evangelize.  A women’s advisory committee provides organizational development and guidance for all Women’s Ministries. Our purpose is to: 

1. Teach obedience to go and have commitment to Him

2. Outreach to those outside the Body, to bring them into a covenant relationship with Christ

3. Teach respect for the leadership of the Church

4. Train women for leadership among women

5. Encourage all women of Southside to work together

6. Promote good health; spiritually, physically and mentally

Women's Class

Join us once a month for biblical teachings designed to help women in their Christian development.

When:   2nd Sunday of each month

Time:    4:30 pm

Where: Adult Classroom, upper level

Women's Prayer Group

The purpose of the Women's Prayer Group is to:

• Encourage women to spend quality time praying to God everyday.

• Encourage women to come and pray together in our prayer meeting, utilizing prayer as a primary source of strength.

• Encourage women to become aware of answered prayers and to thank God for answering prayers.

Join us each quarter to pray and study scriptures in the bible related to prayer.

When:   4th Sunday of each quarter

Time:    4:30 pm

Where:  Adult Classroom, upper level
